Fantasy Football Daily Report
Sunday, August 23, 2026 — Draft-Risk Focus · Prepared for redraft managers

Today's edge: injury uncertainty is the main draft variable. Use it to avoid paying fully healthy prices for players with shaky Week 1 outlooks, while targeting discounted middle-round values.

Must-Monitor Injuries
Highest-leverage availability notes for redraft managers heading into Week 1.

Breece Hall (RB, Jets): Groin strain; expected out 2-3 weeks, with a possible Week 1 return. Fantasy move: Don't panic-sell, but avoid paying a fully healthy premium. Track practice return.

Chuba Hubbard (RB, Panthers): Hamstring issue; week-to-week, with Week 1 still expected. Fantasy move: Treat him as a risk-adjusted RB, not a locked workload bet.

Alvin Kamara (RB, Saints): Reported MCL sprain expected to cost about a month. Fantasy move: Major early-season risk. Move Travis Etienne up your watchlist.

Zach Charbonnet (RB, Seahawks): Knee injury; on PUP. Fantasy move: Avoid optimistic early-season projections; reassess when return timetable clears.

Sam LaPorta (TE, Lions): Hip concern plus prior back issues; Week 1 is a legitimate concern. Fantasy move: Draft a usable TE2 if you select him.

Emeka Egbuka (WR, Buccaneers): Toe injury; week-to-week, with Week 1 concern. Fantasy move: Apply a short-term availability discount.

Season-Long Roster Moves

Remove Jayden Higgins, Ricky Pearsall, and Chris Brazzell from redraft boards — each is reported out for the season. Fade Jordyn Tyson in standard redraft leagues: expected to miss roughly two months with a hamstring injury; only consider as an IR stash. Build a contingency plan for George Kittle: he is on PUP with an Achilles issue, so secure a functional TE2 if you draft him. Watch Malik Nabers rather than overreacting: he is back in full-speed team periods but remains limited/no-contact following ACL and meniscus surgery.

ADP Value Board
Sleeper ADP vs. consensus market ADP — where the value gaps sit right now.

Zay Flowers (WR): Sleeper ADP 44 vs. consensus 33. Strong target if he lasts near Sleeper price.

Jaylen Waddle (WR): Sleeper ADP 48 vs. consensus 37. Value in Sleeper-style rooms around Round 4-5.

Josh Downs (WR): Sleeper ADP 112 vs. consensus 80. Prioritize if he falls near Sleeper pricing.

Rhamondre Stevenson (RB): Sleeper ADP 77 vs. consensus 65. Useful RB2/FLEX value if he slides.

Stefon Diggs (WR): Sleeper ADP 120 vs. consensus 103. Reasonable double-digit-round bench upside.

TreVeyon Henderson (RB): Sleeper ADP 46 vs. consensus 61. Market premium; avoid reaching unless your projections support it.

Depth-Chart Angle

Preseason depth charts are moving quickly. Favor players with defined volume and touchdown equity over ambiguous committee bets. A deeper stash to monitor: Titans rookie Singleton has received preseason usage and could win the No. 3 running-back role — more relevant to deep benches and dynasty than immediate redraft lineups.

Today's Checklist

  1. Cross off the season-ending injuries before your next draft.

  2. Tag Hall, Hubbard, Kamara, Charbonnet, Egbuka, and LaPorta with injury-risk notes.

  3. Create a value-if-falls queue: Flowers, Waddle, Downs, Stevenson, and Diggs.

  4. Check your platform's current ADP immediately before drafting, especially on Sleeper.
