bills vs rams MNF recap - 10/13/26

Monday Night Football Fantasy Recap: Bills 37, Rams 34 (OT)

Buffalo’s overtime win over Los Angeles delivered huge fantasy performances, with Puka Nacua leading the way. Josh Allen’s rushing production, Matthew Stafford’s three touchdown passes and James Cook’s two rushing scores also helped swing fantasy matchups.

Puka Nacua Dominates the Targets

Nacua caught 17 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown on 24 targets, producing 36.8 points in full-PPR scoring. His career-high reception total and overwhelming share of Stafford’s attempts made him the night’s biggest fantasy story. This wasn’t simply a touchdown-driven performance—it was elite volume from start to finish.

Josh Allen Delivers With His Legs

Allen finished with 210 passing yards, one passing touchdown and one interception, adding 121 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. That worked out to approximately 28.5 fantasy points under scoring that awards four points per passing touchdown and deducts two points per interception. His rushing production accounted for 18.1 points, turning a modest passing night into an excellent fantasy performance.

Matthew Stafford and Davante Adams Cash In

Stafford threw for 383 yards and three touchdowns without an interception, producing approximately 27.3 points from passing alone in four-point passing-touchdown formats. Adams caught touchdown passes of four and five yards, giving fantasy managers two valuable scores even as Nacua dominated the targets.

The takeaway: Los Angeles generated enough passing production for both receivers to thrive. Nacua delivered through reception volume, while Adams capitalized near the goal line.

James Cook Scores Twice

Cook scored on runs of 17 and five yards and finished with approximately 110 rushing yards. His workload and two touchdowns delivered a strong fantasy night, although a lost fumble in overtime reduced his total in leagues that penalize turnovers. Published recaps differed on his final rushing line, so check your platform’s finalized scoring before using an exact point total.

An earlier apparent lost fumble was ruled recovered by Buffalo. Fantasy managers should not count that play as a second lost fumble.

Kyren Williams Gets a Late Rescue

Williams rushed 16 times for 49 yards and scored the game-tying touchdown with five seconds remaining. That supplied 10.9 fantasy points from rushing alone, before any receiving production. His touchdown dramatically improved what otherwise would have been a quiet rushing night.

Blake Corum also scored a one-yard touchdown and contributed a 34-yard reception. His involvement near the goal line is worth monitoring, but this game alone does not establish a change atop the Rams’ backfield.

Khalil Shakir Benefits From Overtime

Shakir caught three passes for 80 yards, good for 11.0 full-PPR points. A 57-yard overtime reception accounted for most of his yardage, making this a useful fantasy performance rather than a high-volume breakout.

Keon Coleman caught Buffalo’s lone passing touchdown, while Dalton Kincaid added a two-point conversion. Those scoring plays helped, but they do not provide enough information by themselves to establish stronger weekly roles.

Fantasy Takeaways

  • Nacua’s 24 targets were the clearest usage signal of the night. His reception volume fueled an outstanding PPR performance.

  • Allen showed how his rushing ability can carry his fantasy production even when passing volume is limited.

  • Stafford delivered a strong passing performance, with Nacua and Adams both benefiting.

  • Cook’s two touchdowns and substantial rushing workload outweighed much of the damage from his overtime turnover.

  • Williams’ late touchdown rescued his rushing total, but Corum’s goal-line involvement deserves attention.
