Tom vs. Scott: The DFS Showdown Nobody Asked For (But Everyone Should Watch)
It's finally happening — Ugly Win Sports' own co-founders are going head-to-head in DFS, and if you're reading this, you already know where your loyalty belongs. Tom brings the numbers, the discipline, and the actual will to win. Scott brings... a lineup, presumably, and the full support of his household budget committee. AIs take on the match up -
Both builds lean on a Saints stack this week, but the similarities mostly end there. Tom spreads his salary evenly across the roster with one clear premium investment in Gibbs, the single priciest player on either roster at $8,000, while Scott goes top-heavy at receiver, pricing three separate wideouts north of $5,900 and running his Saints stack even deeper with four total pieces from the same offense. That's the real story here — Scott's lineup has real star power at receiver, but two of his most expensive assets are stuck in tough matchups against top-10 defenses. Tom's build, by comparison, avoided any genuinely bad matchups entirely while still fielding the highest-priced, highest-ceiling play on the entire slate in Gibbs. On paper, Tom's lineup reads as the more disciplined build — better matchup selection, salary used efficiently, and stack risk concentrated in the same offense without doubling down on tough defensive matchups the way Scott did. Should be a fun one to watch play out.
