Week 7 “Beat Scott” DFS Pick ‘Em - 10/25/2026

Four Shared Picks, and the Real Fight Is at Running Back and Quarterback

Scott and Tom overlap on four names this week: Bijan Robinson, Matthew Golden, Tucker Kraft, and the Titans defense. The rest of the build tells two very different stories.

Scott’s Week 7 Lineup

QB Bryce Young (Buccaneers @ Panthers), $5,900, facing the 11th-ranked defense.

RB Bijan Robinson (49ers @ Falcons), $8,500, facing the 22nd-ranked defense.

RB Jonathan Taylor (Colts @ Vikings), $8,000, facing the 1st-ranked defense.

WR Jalen Coker (Buccaneers @ Panthers), $6,100, facing the 17th-ranked defense.

WR Matthew Golden (Packers @ Lions), $6,000, facing the 31st-ranked defense.

WR Ja’Kobi Lane (Bengals @ Ravens), $3,400, facing the 7th-ranked defense.

TE Sam LaPorta (Packers @ Lions), $4,800, facing the 5th-ranked defense.

FLEX Tucker Kraft (Packers @ Lions), $4,700, facing the 32nd-ranked defense.

DST Titans (Browns @ Titans), $2,600, facing a 6.5 FPPG allowed average.

Tom’s Week 7 Lineup

QB Jordan Love (Packers @ Lions), $6,000, facing the 32nd-ranked defense.

RB Christian McCaffrey (49ers @ Falcons), $7,600, facing the 21st-ranked defense.

RB Bijan Robinson (49ers @ Falcons), $8,500, facing the 22nd-ranked defense.

WR Matthew Golden (Packers @ Lions), $6,000, facing the 31st-ranked defense.

WR T. Hurst III (Buccaneers @ Panthers), $3,000, facing the 9th-ranked defense.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (Packers @ Lions), $7,800, facing the 18th-ranked defense.

TE Tucker Kraft (Packers @ Lions), $4,700, facing the 32nd-ranked defense.

FLEX Tyler Higbee (Rams @ Raiders), $3,500, facing the 25th-ranked defense.

DST Titans (Browns @ Titans), $2,600, facing a 6.5 FPPG allowed average.

Color Commentary

Both managers rostered Bijan Robinson, so that spot is a wash. The real separation is at the other running back slot. Scott paid $8,000 for Jonathan Taylor against the single toughest matchup on the board, the 1st-ranked defense in football. That’s either a bold bet on talent or a red flag. Tom took McCaffrey into a much friendlier 21st-ranked matchup and saved $400 doing it.

Tom also leaned hard into the Packers-Lions game, with Love, Golden, St. Brown, and Kraft all tied to one script. Scott has three pieces in that game (Golden, LaPorta, Kraft), so both are exposed to it, but Tom has more riding on it. Scott’s quarterback, Young, sits in a middling 11th-ranked matchup, while Love gets the 32nd-ranked defense. Both defenses are identical, so that’s one less thing to argue about.
