WEEK 2 FANTASY FOOTBALL PLAYS
STANDARD / NON-PPR — 12-TEAM, 1-QB

TOP STARTS

QB

Baker Mayfield vs. CLE
Top-8 QB upside. Cleveland allowed 245 passing yards and 4 TDs to Trevor Lawrence in Week 1.

Brock Purdy vs. MIA
Strong QB1. Miami allowed 3 passing TDs to Kirk Cousins, while Purdy threw 3 TDs last week.

Dak Prescott vs. WAS
Strong QB1. Washington allowed 3 passing TDs to Jalen Hurts, and the Cowboys could be pushed into a high-volume passing game.

RB

Aaron Jones at CHI
Start as an RB1/RB2. Jordan Mason is on IR, opening up lead-back opportunity. Chicago allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to RBs in Week 1.

Chuba Hubbard at ATL
Strong RB2. Hubbard handled 13 touches and scored 2 TDs in Week 1. Jonathon Brooks had only 5 touches. Hubbard’s goal-line role is valuable in standard scoring.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt at DAL
Start as an RB2. He had 16 carries and a TD in Week 1. Dallas allowed 165 rushing yards to the Giants.

David Montgomery vs. CIN
Start as an RB2. Montgomery scored 3 TDs in Week 1 and gets another favorable matchup against Cincinnati.

WR

Stefon Diggs at DAL
Strong WR2. He led Washington with 9 targets and scored in Week 1. Dallas struggled to contain the Giants’ passing game.

Jalen Coker at ATL
WR3/FLEX. He led Carolina in targets in Week 1. Start only if active; monitor his ankle status.

Devaughn Vele at BAL
Deep-league WR3/FLEX. He saw 9 targets in Week 1. New Orleans attempted 56 passes, and Baltimore could force another pass-heavy script.

TE

Mark Andrews vs. NO
Top-5 TE. Zay Flowers is out, which creates a major target-share opportunity for Andrews.

Colston Loveland vs. MIN
TE1 upside. His Week 1 numbers were disappointing, but he ran 34 routes on 38 possible dropbacks. Keep him in the lineup unless you have a clear top-tier alternative.

D/ST

Philadelphia Eagles at TEN
Top D/ST play. Tennessee struggled offensively in Week 1. Philadelphia has elite sack and turnover upside.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. IND
Top D/ST play. Kansas City shut down Denver in Week 1 and now gets Indianapolis at Arrowhead.

INJURY-BASED MOVES

START

Mark Andrews vs. NO
Zay Flowers is out. Andrews should receive a clear target increase.

BENCH

Nico Collins
Out with a hamstring injury.

Brock Bowers
Doubtful with a knee injury. Bench if you have a viable alternative.

CHECK BEFORE KICKOFF

Joe Burrow
Questionable with a back injury.

Chris Olave
Questionable with a hamstring injury.

Ladd McConkey
Questionable with a rib injury.

FADES / SITS

Tony Pollard vs. PHI
RB3 at best. Tennessee’s offense struggled badly in Week 1, and Philadelphia is an even tougher matchup.

MarShawn Lloyd at NYJ
Sit if possible. He had just 37 yards on 13 carries last week and faces a difficult Jets defense.

Bhayshul Tuten at DEN
Risky FLEX. His workload and red-zone role are not secure enough for a difficult road matchup.

Alec Pierce at KC
Sit. Kansas City allowed the fewest passing yards in Week 1.

Luther Burden vs. MIN
Sit unless desperate. Target competition and Minnesota’s defense make him a volatile option.

Mike Gesicki at HOU
Sit. Cincinnati should funnel a larger share of targets toward Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Texans D/ST vs. CIN
Sit. Houston faces Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins after giving up 36 points to Buffalo in Week 1.
