MORNING FANTASY REPORT
Wednesday, November 4, 2026
Week 9 Preparation
6:20 a.m. EST snapshot

LEAGUE FOCUS

12-team Sleeper redraft
Standard/non-PPR scoring
One quarterback
Six-point passing touchdowns
Two FLEX spots

PRIORITY

Check post-waiver free agents, target the changing backfields in Arizona and Las Vegas, and settle Thursday-night contingencies. Pittsburgh and Tennessee are on bye.

BIGGEST DEVELOPMENTS

Tyler Allgeier — Arizona Cardinals
Jeremiyah Love went on IR Tuesday, and James Conner will not return this week. Allgeier is positioned to lead the backfield.
Fantasy move: My first RB availability check. Monitor Zonovan Knight’s concussion status before assuming Allgeier gets an exclusive workload.

Mike Washington Jr. — Las Vegas Raiders
Played 60% of snaps and handled 25 carries for 83 yards in Week 8. Ashton Jeanty played 40%.
Fantasy move: Add for rushing volume. Washington is a FLEX candidate in standard scoring, but one game does not establish a permanent takeover.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. — Jacksonville Jaguars
Bhayshul Tuten missed Tuesday’s practice with ankle/foot injuries. Rodriguez was limited with a hand injury.
Fantasy move: Conditional Thursday starter. Check both players’ final designations before committing.

Devin Singletary — New York Giants
Tyrone Tracy Jr. is on IR, while Cam Skattebo’s hamstring remains a concern.
Fantasy move: Add for RB depth. Upgrade to a potential starting FLEX if Skattebo is out.

Lamar Jackson — Baltimore Ravens
Thumb surgery and IR were reported. Baltimore named Joe Fagnano its Thursday starter, with Tyler Huntley also injured.
Fantasy move: Replace Jackson now and use an eligible IR slot where possible. Fagnano is not an automatic replacement in a one-QB league.

Christian McCaffrey — San Francisco 49ers
Enters the practice week with a hamstring concern following San Francisco’s bye.
Fantasy move: Monitor practice participation. Kaelon Black is the contingency if McCaffrey cannot play.

Seth McGowan — Indianapolis Colts
His potential promotion remains dependent on a Jonathan Taylor trade—not a completed transaction in the reviewed report.
Fantasy move: Speculative bench stash, not a confirmed Week 9 starter.

WAIVER PRIORITIES — RUNNING BACK

  1. Tyler Allgeier
The clearest newly opened multiweek vacancy.

  2. Mike Washington Jr.
Substantial rushing workload, but role stability remains unproven.

  3. Chris Rodriguez Jr.
Moves up if Tuten is ruled out and Rodriguez is cleared.

  4. Devin Singletary
Moves up if Skattebo cannot play.

  5. Seth McGowan
Trade-dependent upside rather than immediate certainty.

CBS places Washington first. My preference is Allgeier because Love’s IR placement establishes a longer opening. Both remain subject to backfield competition.

FAAB REFERENCE

CBS suggests at least 10% of remaining FAAB for Washington, Allgeier and Singletary, and 5–10% for Rodriguez or McGowan.

These are reference ranges—not personalized bids. Your waiver results, available-player pool and remaining budget were not inspected.

QUARTERBACK REPLACEMENTS

Check Sam Darnold and Kirk Cousins first if available, then Malik Willis and Bo Nix.

CBS identifies all four as low-end starting options. Nix faces Carolina this week before a Week 10 bye.

This is a replacement shortlist, not a custom ranking or projection for six-point passing touchdowns.

WIDE RECEIVER WATCH

Makai Lemon
Has drawn 17 targets over two games while DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks have been sidelined. His opportunity depends partly on their availability.

Ryan Flournoy
Has produced alongside Dallas’ established targets, with additional upside if George Pickens or Jake Ferguson misses time.

Antonio Williams
A Washington target to consider following Terry McLaurin’s injury. His five catches for 54 yards last week illustrate why PPR recommendations need adjustment for standard scoring.

Adonai Mitchell
His 142-yard, one-touchdown Week 8 offers upside, but the Jets’ weekly target distribution remains unsettled.

TIGHT END WATCH

Greg Dulcich
A matchup-based streamer against Detroit.

Check T.J. Hockenson or Brenton Strange first if either is unexpectedly available.

Monitor Jake Ferguson’s ankle and Hunter Henry’s foot. Arrange a fallback rather than waiting without an alternative.

FRANCHISE NEWS WATCH

Arizona Cardinals
Love is on IR. Conner will not return this week. Allgeier gains opportunity, while Knight’s concussion status affects the workload outlook.

Baltimore Ravens
Fagnano is the Thursday starter. Justice Hill practiced fully Tuesday. Kicker Tyler Loop went on IR and needs replacement if rostered. Fagnano’s first start adds uncertainty to Baltimore’s receiving options.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Tuten did not practice Tuesday. Rodriguez and Jakobi Meyers were limited. Thursday’s game creates an early decision deadline.

Las Vegas Raiders
Washington led Jeanty in snaps, 60% to 40%. Jeanty remains involved. Do not treat one game as a permanent depth-chart verdict.

New York Giants
Singletary gains relevance with Tracy on IR. Skattebo’s practice reports determine the size of the opening.

San Francisco 49ers
Monitor McCaffrey’s hamstring and practice participation. Black is the contingency if McCaffrey cannot play.

New York Jets
Breece Hall was expected back entering the week, but that is not clearance. Braelon Allen’s recent production makes an immediate return to an exclusive Hall workload uncertain.

Philadelphia Eagles
Lemon remains relevant while Smith and Wicks deal with injuries.

Dallas Cowboys / New England Patriots
Monitor Ferguson and Henry. Keep a tight end fallback available.

New Orleans Saints / Seattle Seahawks
Watch Travis Etienne and Jordyn Tyson return-to-practice developments. Rashid Shaheed has a chance to play but was not cleared in the reviewed update.

Pittsburgh Steelers / Tennessee Titans
Both teams are on bye. Remove affected starters, including kickers and defenses where applicable.

TODAY’S STRATEGY

  1. Review waiver results and available free agents.

  2. Prioritize identifiable RB volume over chasing last week’s touchdowns.

  3. Resolve Jacksonville and Baltimore decisions before Thursday kickoff.

  4. Place early-game starters in their natural positional slots where possible to preserve FLEX flexibility.

  5. Recheck Wednesday practice reports before making final Sunday decisions.

  6. Do not spend on McGowan as though a Taylor trade is already official. The NFL trade deadline is November 10 at 4 p.m. ET.
