MORNING FANTASY REPORT — MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2026
Week 8 wrap-up / Week 9 preparation
LEAGUE FOCUS
12-team Sleeper redraft | Standard/non-PPR | 1 QB | Six-point passing touchdowns | Two FLEX spots
THEME
Prioritize workload over yesterday’s fantasy-point total. Baltimore’s quarterback injuries demand a replacement plan, Arizona’s injuries create a potential starting running back, and Las Vegas’ backfield usage warrants immediate attention.
BIGGEST DEVELOPMENTS
Lamar Jackson
Update: Baltimore announced thumb surgery and a move to injured reserve. He will miss at least four games; a season-ending absence remains possible, not confirmed.
Fantasy move: Move to IR when eligible and find a multiweek replacement—not just a one-week streamer.
Zay Flowers
Update: Finished without a catch on five targets. Tyler Huntley also suffered a toe injury, leaving Baltimore’s next starting quarterback uncertain.
Fantasy move: Lower expectations until the quarterback situation clears. Don’t automatically treat Flowers as a locked-in starter Thursday.
Mike Washington Jr.
Update: Handled 25 carries for 83 yards and played 63% of Las Vegas’ offensive snaps. Ashton Jeanty had two carries and a 37% snap share. The reason for the change remains unclear.
Fantasy move: Priority non-PPR waiver target. Hold Jeanty, but reassess his starting status.
Tyler Allgeier
Update: Produced 191 total yards and two touchdowns as Jeremiyah Love injured his ankle and Bam Knight left with a concussion.
Fantasy move: Priority pickup. His Week 9 value depends on the other backs’ availability.
Hunter Henry
Update: Left Sunday’s game with a foot injury and did not return.
Fantasy move: Prepare a backup tight end while awaiting the diagnosis.
Blake Corum
Update: Rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Kyren Williams still finished with 17 touches.
Fantasy move: RB2/FLEX consideration, but this remains a shared backfield.
Bhayshul Tuten
Update: Recorded 104 rushing yards, 55 receiving yards and two total touchdowns.
Fantasy move: Rising starting value. This was more than a touchdown-only spike.
WEEK 9 WAIVER PRIORITIES
These are editorial priorities for your scoring—not a claim that these players are available in your league.
Mike Washington Jr. / Tyler Allgeier
The top tier. Washington’s case rests on a major workload shift; Allgeier’s rests on injury-created opportunity. Their order should depend on this week’s role and medical updates.Jonah Coleman, if available
Denver’s late-game breakout included five targets and 16 routes, giving him a role-growth case worth pursuing.Blake Corum, if available
Four consecutive games with a touchdown make him relevant in standard scoring, even with Kyren retaining substantial work.Adonai Mitchell
Caught seven of nine targets for 142 yards and a touchdown. Add for upside, but don’t assume the Jets’ weekly receiving distribution is settled.Kenny Gainwell / Dylan Sampson / Emmett Johnson
Bench-depth and insurance options. Sampson’s receiving-heavy production deserves a discount in non-PPR. Gainwell’s unusual Sunday workload should not become your weekly expectation.
QUARTERBACK AND TIGHT END REPLACEMENTS
Sam Darnold
A Week 9 streaming candidate against Arizona, subject to Monday’s performance and health. In your one-QB format, don’t automatically replace Jackson with whichever Baltimore backup starts.
Michael Mayer
A potential tight end streamer after five catches for 53 yards on six targets.
Mike Gesicki
A touchdown-dependent alternative rather than a reliable volume play.
Pittsburgh tight ends
Not Week 9 replacements—the Steelers are on bye. Tennessee is also entering its bye.
MONDAY NIGHT: CHICAGO AT SEATTLE
Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. ET
Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Clear start. His target volume and red-zone role anchor Seattle’s passing game.
D’Andre Swift
Strong starting consideration with the preview reporting enhanced opportunity in Kyle Monangai’s absence. Confirm final inactives.
Colston Loveland
Viable tight end start after 12 targets in his previous game, although Seattle presents a difficult matchup.
Seattle running backs
Wait for activation and inactive news. Zach Charbonnet’s return and Jadarian Price’s unresolved activation make the workload uncertain.
Reminder: Morning expectations are not official active status.
IN-SEASON VALUE MOVERS
RISING: Mike Washington Jr. and Tyler Allgeier
New rushing opportunity through usage changes or injuries.
RISING: Blake Corum and Bhayshul Tuten
Productive rushing roles with standard-scoring appeal.
RISING: Harold Fannin Jr.
Ten catches for 154 yards Sunday, with 245 receiving yards across his last two games.
FALLING / CAUTION: Lamar Jackson and Zay Flowers
Extended quarterback absence and uncertainty across Baltimore’s passing game.
FALLING / CAUTION: Ashton Jeanty
Significant loss of rushing work, with the explanation still unresolved.
HOLD, DON’T PANIC: Jonathan Taylor
Indianapolis’ struggling supporting cast is a concern, but trade speculation is not a completed transaction.
STRATEGY NOTE
With two FLEX spots and no reception points, lean toward backs with credible paths to carries and touchdowns rather than low-yardage reception specialists.
This week’s clearest examples are Washington and Allgeier. Sampson’s receiving usage is less valuable in your format.
Avoid chasing Tampa Bay’s extreme rushing script as though it represents a normal weekly workload.
Replace Jackson for multiple weeks, not just one. Don’t cut Jeanty based on one game before the team explains the usage change.
